DH Event Co. was created in 2015 when founder Darby Harrison started planning corporate events including banquets, continued education seminars, silent auctions, wine tastings, golf scrambles and more. 10 years later and DH has blossomed into a full service wedding planning team who specialize in bringing Pinterest boards to life and crafting unforgettable, one of a kind events. DH originally stood for "Darby Harrison", then she got married and changed her last name but as fate would have it... her husband's name is Hugh, making DH Events even more near and dear to her heart.

I am a Lexington native with a love for all things bridal. I am a full time Physician Assistant and when I'm not caring for patients, I enjoy loving on my goldendoodle, being a mama to my daughter LC, weekday dinners with my girls and pickleball!

I bring my spunk, hype-girl energy and go-getter attitude everywhere I go. I'm a proud dog mom, avid pickleball player, and participate in competitive darts. You can find me behind the scenes on your big day bringing floor plans to life and hyping up your bridal party.

Former DH Event bride turned part of the team! I am originally from Northern Kentucky and moved to Lexington with my now husband and two pups. During the week I am a NICU nurse and on weekends I assist with all DH wedding design and socials.
I had so much fun planning my wedding with DH, I can't wait to plan yours!
